MEYER RAAPKE
Originally built as a grocery/wholesale warehouse in 1886 by a couple of characters named Meyer and Raapke, this old beauty had been divided into two and was still a wide open warehouse space from the second floor on up. On the outskirts of the Old Market on a downtown street, asking to be vibrate again, a facelift and a new soundtrack was in order.
The idea was to bring these two buildings back together, the way the structures were intended to stand tall and long. To walk the talk of our commitment to creating a vibrant live + work development in the city. Today the Meyer Raapke building houses Flywheel (a fast growing technology company), Wilson & Washburn (a bustling gastro pub) and twelve luxury residential apartments. Neighbors include the Orpheum Theatre, Deco Hotel and a growing number of bars and eateries.
